With just a few clicks, you can make your Snapchat account disappear… forever. Method 1: Deleting your Snapchat Account using an URL
Step 1: Visit https://support.snapchat.com/delete-account in any web browser. You can even use Safari on your iPhone or iPad (you can’t delete the account from the actual app).
Step 2: Enter your Snapchat username and password. Check the box to confirm you are not a robot. And Click/Tap on “Log in”.
Step 3: Upon logging in, you’ll see a screen similar to the one above. Enter your username and password one last time, then click on the yellow “Delete Account” button.You are done! Snapchat will keep all your data for 30 days, just in case you want to return. In case you wish to return back to the app, just log in with your Snapchat user ID and password and your account is back. During these 30 days, your Snapchat account will be non-existent to the public.
To Permanently Delete Snapchat Account, you have to stay logged off for 30 days – only then will all of your data and your account be deleted permanently.
Method 2: Deleting your Snapchat Account using an Account Settings Option
Step 1: Open your browser and go to Snapchat.com.
Step 2: Scroll down and click/tap on “Support”, under the “Company” section.
Step 3: Click/Tap on “Learning the basics”.
Step 4: Click/Tap on “Account Settings”. And Select “Delete an Account”.
Now, follow the same steps as Method 1.
Just as quickly as your Snaps vanish, so does your account. It’s crucial to remember that once you permanently delete Snapchat account, you cannot get it back. Deleting your Snapchat account erases out all underlying data. Plus, you won’t be able to create a new account with the same username.
