Actor Dev Patel was speaking to the police when he saw a horrifying stab at a gas station. He allegedly saw a woman, 34, stab a man in the chest during a heated argument at an Adelaide, Australia, gas station.
He is thought to have happened across the horrific crime scene and witnessed the momentous event. Before the street battle in South Australia spilled into the service station, onlookers reportedly attempted to break it up.

The 32-year-old was allegedly stabbed by the woman on Monday night in front of horrified bystanders. Dev was seen talking to the police after appearing to become caught in the crossfire of the conflict.

According to reports, he and his girlfriend, Hotel Mumbai co-star Tilda Cobham-Hervey, are currently vacationing in South Australia. Police were summoned to the scene before 8.45 p.m. because of allegations of a couple fighting before they seemed to debrief with Dev.
Paramedics attended to the 32-year-old at the site and then took him to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.
The woman has been detained and is facing charges of serious assault. The 34-year-old man from Park Holme in the southwest of the city was turned down for bail so he could show up in court on Tuesday.
According to the police, the two are acquainted and the attack was not random.

Investigation
According to the police, the two are acquainted and the attack was not random. 7NEWS.com.au reported: “Dev acted on his natural instinct to try and de-escalate the situation and break up the fight,”
“The group was thankfully successful in doing so, and they remained on site to ensure that the police and eventually the ambulance arrived.”
