After a boy’s night out, the legal secretary, who had a history of anxiousness, suspected her boyfriend was contacting other women.

Examiner Live adds that she covertly used his phone to message another woman claiming to be him to see if she could confirm her concerns.

Jack, on the other hand, told the hearing that he had not spoken to anyone else. He said, “I loved that girl to bits”.

Investigation

According to the inquest, heating engineer Jack was arrested on suspicion of murdering Ella after police initiated a homicide investigation.

However, Senior Investigating Officer Supt Mark Swift stated that he was discharged after no evidence of a struggle was discovered and the criminal investigation was terminated.

Ella attempted suicide while in a previous relationship with an older guy who sought to “control” her, according to the court.

The part-time eyelash technician “began to doubt her self-worth” after she left him.

Ella began to be concerned about money and was stressed by her responsibilities as a caregiver for her grandparents.

When she first started dating Jack, she was “distressed” by his going out drinking with friends because she wanted him to spend more time with her at home, according to reports.

According to TheSun, Anglea Brocklehurst, an assistant coroner, said, “She formed a relationship with Jack and her sensitive emotional triggers were faithfulness and loyalty.

“In an earlier relationship in 2016, she made an attempt to take her own life. This final attempt happened when her partner was asleep and unable to help her.”

“That evening she interpreted events that she thought she was being rejected. There was her clandestine use of Jack’s phone in the early hours.”

“None of us can know what was in Ella’s mind and never will but I am satisfied that she couldn’t continue with her life despite the love and care of so many people around her.”
