Who is Ethan Crumbley?
Ethan Crumbley has been charged with murder and terrorism in the shooting deaths of four students and the injury of seven more at a Michigan high school on Tuesday.
Mr. Crumbley, who was arraigned in Michigan court on Wednesday and charged with 24 charges as an adult, reportedly hailed from a household that supported gun ownership.
He is 15 years old.
Ethan Crumbley Parents
Ethan Crumble’s parents are James Crumble (father) and Jennifer Crumble (mother), respectively.
James Crumbley, 45, worked as a tech salesperson and was recently sued in Florida about child support payments.
Crumbley “briefly worked… as an independent contractor from February to July 2021” and “was terminated for reasons unrelated to this incident,” according to a spokeswoman for his previous employer, Monarch, a San Francisco-based company that provides GPS tracking to the transportation industry.
Jennifer Crumbley, Ethan Crumbley’s mother, worked as a real estate broker in the Oxford area, but her staff bio has since been removed. Despite his fondness for the Seattle Seahawks on social media, James’ posts were not blatantly political.
Mr. Crumbley’s mother, Jennifer Crumbley, 43, penned an open letter to then-president-elect Donald Trump on her blog in November 2016, according to The Daily Beast.
She wrote, “Mr. Trump, I actually love that you are a bad public speaker because that showed sincerity, and humility,”
“You changed your mind, and you said ‘so what.’ You made the famous ‘grab them in the pussy’ comment, did it offend me? No. I say things all the time that people take the wrong way, do I mean them, not always. Do I agree that you should of [sic] shown your tax returns? No. I don’t care what you do or maybe don’t pay in taxes, I think those are personal and if the Gov’t can lock someone up over $10,000 of unpaid taxes and you slipped on by, then that shows the corruption.”
How could no one “red flags” this post before the killer Ethan Crumbley used it to take 3 innocent lives and shooting other victims who are now hospitalized. Shame on his mother who bragged about taking her son to shoot the high powered hand gun just days before. pic.twitter.com/vRudl2igk8
