The search for the missing mother of four named Melissa Molinari on Long Island has come to an end when her body was discovered on Thursday. She had been missing for nearly three weeks.
Melissa Molinari was discovered in the Rocky Point Barrens State Forest by Suffolk County police a week after she was reported missing on December 2.
Authorities did not disclose any other information regarding the discovery, other than to say that Molinari’s husband, Marcello Molinari, was detained and charged with murder.

Molinari was reported missing by a friend, and authorities did not say whether her absence was suspicious, only that Molinari’s family, including her husband, is cooperating.
Suffolk County investigators combed into a water basin across the street from the Molinaris’ home on Wednesday, looking for any clues that could lead them to her.
