Miya Marcano, a missing girl from Orange County, was last seen near the University of Central Florida in Orlando, at the Arden Villas residences on Arden Villas Boulevard, at 5 p.m. on Friday, September 24.
On Sunday, September 26, deputies began searching for Marcano in the forested area behind her apartment building. Marcano’s height and weight have been verified to be 4’9 and 130 pounds.
Marcano, who lives on the property and works in the leasing office, was set to fly home the day she vanished. She, on the other hand, never got on the plane.

Where is Miya Marcano Now? On Sunday, September 26, Channel 9 approached Marcano’s family, but they were told by law authorities that they could not speak to the media since the investigation was still underway.
Marcano’s father, on the other hand, posted a photo of her on Facebook, stating that “this was the shirt she was wearing when she was last seen — there were signs of struggle in her apartment — and she may be in danger.”

On September 26, Marcano’s friends and family staged a prayer vigil, pleading with the community to come forward and assist them in finding her.
Marcano was last seen at the Arden Villas Apartments, where the vigil was held before she vanished. Members of the community gathered, with Marcano’s family urging them to help find their daughter.
Detectives were looking through trees and along a retention pond in the back area of the apartments, according to Knapp.

Juan Castillo, who lives next to the flats, confirmed, “It sent chills down my spine to be honest because I didn’t know what they were looking for and yesterday the chopper that’s above us now was searching five or six times doing circles around,”

“Anyone with even the smallest shred of information is urged to call us,” an Orange County deputy spokeswoman stated.
