Sebastian Kalinowski Trial
Kalinowska and Latoszewski are accused of murder, as well as manslaughter and causing or permitting the death of a child, as well as neglect. Both defendants would contend that their treatment of Sebastian was justified retribution, according to Mr. Pitter.
The court heard the case. Sebastian arrived in Huddersfield in October 2020, and instructors described him as a lovely and well-mannered youngster who was quiet and frightened at times and appeared unhappy at other times. Pitter said: “In the very early stages it would appear that, at least for Kalinowska, she was glad that her son was here with her.
“She was described by a friend as being “smitten”. If that was correct, that was unfortunately to change rapidly.”
The trial is still ongoing.
