Timothy Wall Bio/Wiki
The man who killed a little boy and the boy’s grandmother inside a Publix in Palm Beach County on Thursday had been struggling to make ends meet for months.
Timothy Jamieson Wall, a temporary laborer on a construction site, was just scraping by financially in January when he filed a Chapter 7 bankruptcy case, claiming he had $6,000 in assets and $215,000 in obligations, with a monthly wage of about $2,165.
He claimed to have $27 in the bank, $743 in Bitcoin, and one additional asset that would come into play six months later: a $300 45 caliber handgun. His bankruptcy petition was approved in April, allowing him to discharge almost all of his debt, including more than $4,000 in credit card debt owed to Bank of America.
He married his Argentinian-born spouse in Boynton Beach in 2003, after being born in New York. After 15 years of marriage, they divorced. According to court records, he and his ex-wife have a 14-year-old daughter.

Publix Gunman Full Details
The young boy who was killed was about to become two years old later this month. Although neither of the victims’ names has been public, Local 10 News has learned that the boy’s father is a Sunny Isles Beach Police Department civilian employee.
He has worked for the agency for over 20 years as an evidence specialist. He had to go to the crime scene on Thursday to identify his son’s and mother’s bodies. Shoppers came to Publix on Friday morning to recover products left behind after they rushed out after gunfire erupted in the vegetable area soon before noon on Thursday.

“It’s terrible. It’s our neighborhood Publix, and it’s terrifying. Pam Taplan, who came to pick up her friend’s bag on Friday, described it as “very sad.”
When her buddy heard three gunshots, Taplan said she dropped her handbag and phone and rushed out of the store. On Friday, Anay Hernandez placed a teddy bear outside the Publix as a makeshift memorial.
She said, “I always come with my daughter here, so right now it doesn’t feel safe anywhere,”
The supermarket is still shuttered, with no word on when it will reopen. That isn’t likely to happen until at least Saturday morning, according to the PBSO.
“There is no known motive or connections between the gunman and the victims,” according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, although detectives are still looking into it.
